Certified locator on site

Professional report ready for excavation and council submissions.
Probably. Most asset owners require you to verify the location of their asset before excavation starts. Some, such as Telstra, require you to visually confirm the location of the asset before excavation. Legistlation places the responsibility on you to protect the underground asset.
Yes. Most pipes can be located using trace rods where access can be obtained. Where access is not possible, ground penetrating radar (GPR) can usually be employed. GPR is not part of our regular quote, so if you require GPR, please ensure you mention that on the quote request.
Yes! Asset plans only show the approximate location, and do not usually show depth (which are often inaccurate anyway). Some assets are mere millimeters below the surface. Hitting gas or high voltage power could be fatal, not to mention an expensive repair.
Stump grinding and tree removal definitely require a certified locator before you start. Most asset owners require you to ensure the tree is a minimum distance away from the asset (vertical and horizontal). Stump grinding usually goes below ground level, and some services are mere millimeters below the surface. Legislation places the obligation on you to protect the asset.
Call the asset owner (after calling any emergency services) immediately. Even a slight scratch or dent in a pipe under pressure can have catastophic consequences.
